- What does it cost?
- Nothing. There is no paid version, no ads, and nothing for sale here.
- Will anyone ask me for money?
- No. We handle no payments at all, which also means we could never get money back for you. If anyone you meet here asks for a gift card, a wire transfer or a deposit up front, they are stealing from you — tell us and we’ll remove them.
- Do I need an account?
- Not to read, and not to ask us to find something. You need one to post a find, answer a mystery or add a shop. It takes one screen.
- How long does the hunt take?
- My mom reads every request, usually within a day or two. Finding the thing itself can take weeks, or it might not happen at all — but we’ll tell you either way. Here’s what we’ve found so far.
- Who sees my email and phone number?
- Only us. They are kept apart from everything public, and a phone number is never shown on the site to anyone, for any reason. The privacy page says exactly what happens to them.
- Can I say what something is worth?
- We’d rather you didn’t, and we never do. Valuations start arguments and they are usually wrong. What people paid is welcome — that is a fact, not a valuation.
- Something here is wrong. What do I do?
- Every post and comment has a “Report this” link, and shop pages have their own. Or email the address below — a real person reads it.
